Syllabus For CSIR UGC NET June 2020 Recruitment :

1. Chemical Sciences

The CSIR-UGC (NET) Exam will be a Single Paper Test Containing Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) for Eligibility For Junior Research Fellowship and Lecturership. The Question Paper is Divided Into Three Parts.

Part ‘A’: This Section will Consist of 20 Questions Related to General Science, Quantitative Reasoning and Analysis and Research Aptitude. Applicants will be Required to Answer any 15 Questions. Each Question will Carry Two Marks. The Total Marks Allotted to this Section Will be 30 out of 200.

Part ‘B’: There will be 40 Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) in this Section Which Usually Cover the Topics Given in the Syllabus. The Candidate will be Required to Answer any 35 Questions. Each Question will Carry Two Marks. The Total Marks Allotted to this Section will be 70 out of 200.

Part ‘C’: This Section will Consist of 60 Questions Designed to Test a Candidate’s Knowledge of Scientific Concepts and/or Application of the Scientific Concepts. The Questions will be of Analytical Nature Where a Candidate is Expected to Apply Scientific Knowledge to Solve a Given Scientific Problem.

A Candidate will be Required to Answer any 25 Questions. Each Question will Carry Four Marks. The Total Marks Allotted to this Section will be 100 out of 200, For Every Wrong Answer, 25% Mark Will be Deducted.

A Candidate will be Required to Answer any 25 Questions. Each Question will carry 4 Marks. The Total Marks Allotted to this Section will be 100 out of 200. For Each Wrong Answer for Part ‘A’ and ‘B’, Negative Marking will be @ 25%. Negative Marking for Part ‘C’ will be @ 33% for Each Wrong Answer.

3. LIFE SCIENCES

The CSIR-UGC (NET) Examination Will be a Single Paper Test Containing Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) for Eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship and Lecturership. The Question Paper is Divided into Three Parts.

No Partial Credit is Allowed. The Candidate will be Required to Answer any 20 Questions. Each Question will carry 4.75 Marks. The Total Marks Allotted to This Section will be 95 out of 200.

For Each Wrong Answer For Part ‘A’ and ‘B’, Negative Marking will be @ 25%. No Negative Marking For Part ‘C’.

5. Physical Sciences: CSIR UGC NET June 2020 Notification

The Exam for Eligibility for CSIR-UGC (NET) Junior Research Fellowship and Lecturership will be a Single Paper Test Consisting of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs). The Question Paper is Divided into Three Parts.

The Candidate will be Required to Answer any 20. Each Question will carry 5 Marks. The Total Marks Allotted to this Section will be 100 out of 200, For Every Wrong Answer, 25% Mark Will be Deducted.
